VENICE DIPLOMATIC SOCIETY: what's new?

Hi International Community!

Do you know the Venice Diplomatic Society?

It is a students’ Non-Profit association of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice that deals with politics, international relations, human rights and diplomacy.

VDS” gathers young people from all over the world since 2015 through internationality and dialogue. With the motto ‘Learn How To Make The Difference’, VDSers create projects and opportunities that get the youth involved in diplomacy and international relations, as well as offer a great chance to connect with fellow students.

Among the main activities, VDS organizes the Model United Nations and the Model European Union. Participants simulate the functioning of these international organizations and have the chance to acquire and improve debating, mediating and public speaking skills. Does it sound interesting? The Model European Union “VeUMEU” just opened the applications! Check the links at the end of the article to be part of it. Moreover, the Debate Society assembles meetings and conferences about globally relevant issues. In addition, VDS International Hour publishes articles on the EU, conflicts and peace, the environment, human rights activism and so much more content.
